Press-Room

We have the very latest in printing press technology, our new Komori five colour was installed in March 2004 and compliments our Heidelberg five colour presses already in situ.

All our presses have computer controlled front end systems.

We download files of approved proofs from pre-press, and the press digitally controls the correct ink levels and damping. This together with automatic plate changing and impression cylinder cleaning makes for speedier turnarounds.

Digital Presses

Our digital press prints up to 340 x 510mm and uses conventional inks. We can print on most substrates similar to our conventional lithographic presses. This press is suitable for shorter run jobs where quality is paramount and is required to match litho production.

We have just installed an Indigo 3050 seven colour digital press, where both sides of the sheet can be printed at the same time.

This is the latest press in the HP Indigo range and is comparable to litho quality and ideal for the short run work. Variable data and the personalising of each sheet is a breeze.
The 3050 can print on uncoated stock and can print up to 350gsm coated board.
